The Manna House is a nonprofit men's addiction recovery home and program based on biblical principles, the 12 Steps of Recovery, and Addiction Counseling. We accept men that are in the bondage of alcohol or drugs. Men who are tired of the way their life is going and want to make a change.
House manager
The job is a ministry position. Please note that only male applicants will be considered
Responsibilities
The position will consist of maintaining strict discipline of all house rules, rooms checks, maintaining order and discipline of all residents, room inspections, verifying all daily chore list are completed properly. The house manager must posses good leadership and communication skills along with a healthy and strong boundaries to avoid manipulation and recognize deceit from residents.
Qualifications
Male applicant must be experienced with recovery methods of drug and alcohol addictions. He needs to have patience, an understanding and sensitive heart to the issues the residents are experiencing. The applicant must also have healthy boundaries to enforce house rules, discipline residents and lead them to a healthier life in Christ as well as encouraging them in developing new life skills.
The House Manager will be offered a ministry compensation package including room and board in the Manna House. The Manna House is located at 1238 FM 359 in Brookshire Texas. Brookshire is a small town west of Houston Texas.
